The new Jim Root Jazzmaster guitar is among the most minimalist versions ever devised in the model’s entire history — only one knob and one three-way switch — made possible thanks to the collaboration of Slipknot/Stone Sour guitarist.
The guitar features EMG® 60 (neck) and 81 (bridge) humbucking pickups with brushed nickel covers and a 6-Saddle American Series Strings-Thru-Body Strat with Block-Style Saddles. It also features a mahogany body, satin-finish bolt-on maple neck with “modern C” profile and large '70s style headstock, 25.5" compound-radius ebony fingerboard (12”-16”) with 22 jumbo frets and no position markers, staggered deluxe locking tuners, black hardware and pickup bezels, and a Flat Black satin-nitro lacquer finish.
It comes with a black tweed case with red plush interior, strap and strap locks, cable and polishing cloth.
MSRP is $1799.99.
