[NAMM] New Roland TM-2 trigger module

Roland will introduce at NAMM 2014 the new TM-2 trigger module for acoustic drums.

The Roland TM-2 is designed for acoustic drummers who wish to expand their sonic arsenal with electronic sounds and effects. You can also use it to trigger sounds, loops or playbacks stored in DSHC card in WAV format.

The TM-2 module include more than 100 sounds, ranging from acoustic percussion to electronic sounds, as well as effects (reverb, flanger, delay…).

The TM-2 features two Trigger inputs for connecting pads or sensors. It is compatible with RT Series sensors, the BT-1 trigger bar, the KT-10 kick trigger pedal, V-Pads and V-Cymbals.

MIDI input and output are also present to trigger sounds from external modules, get MIDI data from music software or play sounds of the TM-2 from other devices.

The Roland TM-2 is battery-powered and can be installed on a hi-hat stand o a drum rack with a universal clamp.
