UTILIZATION
Configuration is very simple, I plug in my Jack on XENYX 802 (for the XLR, opt for the 882i model but I had no use) and spring Powo jack to my system.
The manual is simple and clear (English only)
two knobs per channel (left and right), one for the treble, one for bass so it's very simple.
SOUND QUALITY
This is of course at this point that I am a little disappointed. I have a system which has the peculiarity Powo to have a box of "strike". Ie, it hits hard in the 50 hz but the bottom of the spectrum (30-35 Hz) is not returned. At all!
That's over I had a lot of waiting. I got information before buying and was told that the bottom of the spectrum could be restored and frankly after several tests on several songs, this is not the case. Increase the bass volume pot does not change, moreover, not much, except as some say give effect loudness. So for anyone looking for really different and bass sound like a subwoofer bass reflex found in many hi-fi (or even home theater computer speakers (I have a Logitech z-2300 for which sends in the heavy )), the 482i is not for you.
Now for the positives, it is true that the sound is a little clearer, especially at the sharp ringing of metal on the least equalo my table. The bass are still pêchus more than normal.
OVERALL OPINION
For how long have you been using it?
I tested it out today on all music (GNI heavy bass which suddenly are not really heavy metal pêchus bass drums, guitar for the treble, even Haliday!)
Did you try many other models before getting this one?
never, I bought it on advice.
What thing do you like most/least about it?
The pros: ease of use, solid and reliable, the sound is clean and clear that without the process.
the -: not as magical as everyone says. honestly, you really have an ear for finding a real difference between this treatment and a slight increase in equalo a mixer. Do not reproduce the frequencies that your system is not able to return to the base especially in the bass.
What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Delicate matter, I got used to 100 euros but given what I expected I'm still a little disappointed.
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Probably not since it did not meet my expectations, it said, many find their account but good advice, try before you buy, and on your own system.
