What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The number of entries and exits in relation to an mbox
I use it for projects homestudio centrino laptop with a 1.7 GH
My old interface was a M-Audio USB OmniStudio, the coup by comparison, I find the preamps of Digi003 really well (plus ca does not blow at all).
The preamp knob nice but a little fragile.
UTILIZATION
No problem to install or inconsistency. Easy setup.
The only problem is to use a FireWire cable 6 -> 4 pin in this case, the digi was not "seen" by the PC. A map using a PCM / CIA no FireWire bp.
GETTING STARTED
The drivers are stable.
J had used to work with Cubase SX, and it was not possible to script by monitoring software, no problem, the latency is almost imperceptible, even with effects.
I have not done enough testing to see the limitations but it depends mainly on the PC
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a month and am very happy.
I think what has no interest in someone with a 002, perfect for qulqu'un wishing to make a protools.
A bit expensive but still ... good.
With experience, you do again this choice? ...
