Value For Money : Excellent
I wanted a small external card for my laptop to avoid using the AC97 chipset pourri of Acer 1363wlmi. I'm not! But beware, in the words of another person, there are problem with VIA chipsets. I had cuts to beginners ds I wanted to play a virtual instrument or even play a single audio track. APRS moult research, I found what was wrong. Just disable the Energy Management in Control Panel / Systm / hardware. Now it's nickel! This small external interface gives me satisfaction Entire.

UTILIZATION

Installation smoothly. As a letter in the mail. Incompatibility with VIA chipset but rgl (see above).

GETTING STARTED

I have not encountered the problem of drivers. It looks stable and mr.
I use Sonar 4 for the ride. Nickel! Latency is good but not exceptional. The internal PCI cards are much better. On my config (a Sempron 64 3 ghz) I can play 7-8 instruments (virtual analog synths mostly) before getting dcrochages of intensive use of CPU.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several months. I like its simplicity of installation, quality of sound, stable drivers. The report qualitprix is good, nothing more. If c'tait again, I would reiterate the MODEL or other models of m-audio because they make quality sound cards.
