I've had a year soon, I had the opportunity to record stuff on it.
It is my opinion a very good card in sound, the preamps are pretty neutral and well defined over the entire spectrum (especially at the top, even at 44.1) in stro AC took the very cohrent air dynamics is rather good, the breath is very very far away and ca cash rather well ...
I had the opportunity (briefly) compare recordings made with the same source and the same microphones on a Digi 002 (ie in protools instead of cubase) and I found that in acute seemed ca end (but then again I have not pushed very far the test ...)
super instantly mix knob on the output monitor (which mix the signal of 8 among that of soft)
otherwise good -petits- faults that I find him
pity that the VU meters are not more accurate
pity that the lines are among only jack (symtriques hopefully!)
the preamps lack a bit gain: with a pad on the mic, must push the knob almost background very often ...
XLR outputs AC would have been nice too, I also regret the absence of Adat (but hey it I knew it before you buy it!)
the current report is duly qualitprix, I'll buy a second in no time and I among the 16 Concurrent 1000 euros frankly that price I think it is unbeatable!
