Laptop, P3 1 Ghz + 512 MB RAM + 1 HDD in FireWire 7200 trs.

UTILIZATION

Installing quite chaotic because of a PCMCIA card combo FireWire / USB 2.0 rather capricious.

I replaced it and everything works perfectly!

No incompatibility DTECT until now.

GETTING STARTED

The drivers are stable trs put off some unwanted cracks but this is certainly my PC configuration.

I use it with Cubase LE (supplied with the machine)

I get a 10 ms latency infrieur and I record 8 tracks simultanment no problem.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this interface for 2 months now and I'm delighted!
The lack of drivers a routing interface as with the competitors. Maybe will it be compatible with Pro Tools one day (LoL)

I am a former owner of ISIS, this is my first sound card "semi pro".

At 690 euros it's good stuff, the preamps are largely the case for the recording of a demo or BMD.

I do it again this choice without hsitation! and I buy (when finances will be better) a second for 16 tracks simultaneously.
