* What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The eight inputs mainly hybrids, and quality preamps.

* Which instruments or systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) and you use the connection with what? ...
I used two different ways:
1 / Recording my guitar amp with two to three microphones.
2 / Jack out of my keyboard (P80) and Jack in the FP10.
In both cases, the use was perfect.

A big flaw in cons: Firewire ports are VERY fragile, according to testimony. For now, touch wood, everything goes well. But as soon as we see almost the beast, we see very quickly that we will have to be very gaff here.
Hence the drop points in characteristics.

UTILIZATION

Since the new update, they are perfect!

* What software do you use most often?
Cubase, and all goes well.

* How many tracks do you manage to record / playback simultaneously? ...
I record the tracks generally by two, and I had to read along at least one 20aine

* Are they often updated?
I do not think there I need.

* What latency you get?
2ms.

GETTING STARTED

* The installation is done it without problems?
Yes.

* The general configuration is easy?
Yes.

* Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
No

* The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
Yes, there's even small designs for nazes like me.

OVERALL OPINION

* For how long have you been using it?
2 years now.

* Did you try many other models before getting this one?
Line 6 TonePort.

* What thing do you like most/least about it?
Most: Everything.
Fewest: Firewire ports.

* What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Exceptional, given the research I did at the time, comparing with MOTU and Edirol.

* Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
It is! Besides, if it loose, I bought a Live! My best
