The specifications silent as follows:
- Connects my laptop ACER 5610 (2GB RAM, 1.6Ghz Centrino Duo Proc, PCMCIA ENE PCMCIA Adapter / Firewire gnrique)
- Maximum analog output
- Possibility of internal routing (to switch between soft one another).
- Vary the level of multiple outputs at the same time
UTILIZATION
Implementation: Everything is OK
The Soft TotalMix is great and should have an equivalent in all other brands. It's a large addition to RME!
Possibility to select the number of IN / OUT assets, therefore the CONTRL DBiT the firewire and the decrease in case of instability. In this case it is also possible to play on the buffer size (latency).

OVERALL OPINION
For history, I did not want to put dpart over 400 euros in a sound card with the mentioned CHARACTERISTICS. At this price in the firewire, I had to rewire the mind. So I made sacrifices and begins with a PreSonus Firepod control, trs good sound but the sound crackled. I returned, and an ECHO command AUDIOFIRE12. Similarly trs good sound (a little better than a Firepod) but pops in the sound trsrgulirement totally unacceptable! Looking more prs, I knew that was coming from the PCMCIA controller will integrate the motherboard is the brand ACER ENE Technology. I think that's what's worse for the audio ... Alerts the Controller we can see everywhere. Before selling my new PC I ordered a RME high price and it works just miracle! The sound is of the same level as the Firepod and ECHO as a little colder all of the same (my preferences is the ECHO on this point). I have no crack but I am limited number of channels in 96kHz and 192kHz. This is the Controller ENE that bad! But good at 48Hz with no problem all channels open, I still put the same buffer latency 1024.
To conclude:
Most: Soft + driver + IN / OUT + audio (but can still do better)
The -: The internal routing of the card consumes IN / OUT. The price justification is that all of the same lev.
A consultant then!
