Separating me from my home konnekt8 TC, drivers cause problems, my dealer offered me the FireOne ... A little perplexed, I bought it anyway to use it on my iMac with my grate (Line6 Variax) and a synth!
I was attracted by the transport controls noon and the big wheel ... the weighted class!
2 preamp input, including a Hi-Z for the grate, Midi ports, FireWire ... impeccable.

UTILIZATION

While installing!
You branches and that's it! and that's really wonderful! All I wanted after gallery with the drivers for my Konnekt 8 cans!
You have to install a small driver ... that does not seem necessary, since it's just a small utility to the functions of the FireOne.
So without hesitation, becaufe 10/10 simpler and more functional, you can not!

GETTING STARTED

Good stability, but it is too early to speak ...
I use LiveLite provided with the card, and that's nice, and configuration south of FireOne is integrated in the Midi options ... Very, very practical, high quality.
Latency level is fine .. After that always depends on your config.
For my part, I plug in my grate, and not go below 10ms, I play without being bothered by a quelquonque delay (between 256 and 512 samples).

OVERALL OPINION

I have since yesterday, I was afraid of being disappointed, but in fact I am delighted!
Installation could not be more simple, MIDI control, entry grate ... the top.
While the sound!? Well to tell you, I had a Konnekt 8 just before so I could quickly see the difference. Konneck undoubtedly provided the sound more clear and precise ... but hey, the FireOne fate still a nice little sound, very round or even hot.
The preamps are wickedly effective! Almost better than the Konnekt!
So here I am so happy to finally have a card that I do not have problems with drivers and stability, and then transport Midi is awfully convenient (the buttons are a bit stiff), and the dial pure pleasure!
