I chose this card for its sound quality recognized (prampli excellent). Then TC is a REFERENCE in terms of audio hardware. that it is in firewire too.
Couraging to use models (audio, midi).
I use a Sony Vaio VGN C1S Core 2 Duo, 1 GB of RAM.
I am a guitarist based. Gibson Les Paul Std, but an old bass on which I added a Seymour Duncan PB. For audio, a Seagull.
For now, I have no Midi Controller, but will soon. ; +)
The possibility to evolve with the ADAT ports.
The effects are also a plus.
UTILIZATION
Installation without problem. It was not until I run the install 2 times. Bizarre but hey nothing mchant. I directly install the latest drivers available on the website of TC. After installation, the branch and it works. Time to install: 2 minutes.
Need to be addressed a little while the software tracks but everything is clear is russi.
The manual is well done, no worries.
In Samplitude, a direct work, no worries.
GETTING STARTED

I use Samplitude, and various VST. The latency is great. I have not had time to do a job consquent with many tracks and effects. I will update my opinion, if I have problem.
OVERALL OPINION
I did that yesterday. Purchase as new, has not fit in the budget that I m'tais fix. I could make the Konnekt 8 but not n'tait scroll and then she was only two exits.
The sound of this card is HUGE. Clair, prcis. It does not color the sound, it restores a fully usable by its effects, whatever they are. It's really his forte. In addition it is trs beautiful, and its aluminum housing trust. It's solid.
I have a lot of discussion right and left before I DCID. In dpart, j'tais party on AK1 Native, or Firebox. But frankly, every time, I was given the same rponse: TC outperforms the others in this type of card. Given the number of returns and problems caused by the Focusrite Saffire LE, I zapp quickly, even if apparently this card has a good sound.
