I use this beautiful card to record my various synths and from time to time for the "field recording".
I chose the Konnekt given its technical specifications: a DSP, a preamp of thunder, a look ... how to say ... beautiful and solid appearance.
when you take the machine in hand (the Konnekt so) we feel that it is good mail!
I use a PC (P4 3.2GHz) and PowerBook G4 867 ... and it runs smoothly, even on the pc. This is to say: o)
UTILIZATION
- Installed without any problems ... Just rub a pit on the PC that required a second start. nothing serious!
- Incompatibility .. > Flush at the moment
- The config is really great, it's clear that simple ... it's been a long time!
- The manual ..??? not bzoin
GETTING STARTED
I use it with Cubase, Reason, Live, Reaktor, and nothing wrong .. it runs without cracking or gene of this kind!
I did not really push to assess the stability of the config (less than 10 tracks)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for one month ...
I personally do not see a default ... I previously had an m-box and a presonus firebox (kept 2 months). This is where I realize that digidesign is not really here and that's not presonus punchy sound that everyone is talking about. I rediscovered an ITS with Konnekt, fine details appear, the mix is more open ... and especially the preamp and finally I hear something my microphone and without breath or bzzzzzz of its kind .... really it sounds!
For over 15 years I've been in music, having worked on many console and synth of any kind I get a quick idea of the sound coming from a machine. I want to say that this interface is a real success both as noise and ergonomics (software & hardware).
