Value For Money :
Excellent

44.1-96kHz, 24bit
Input: 16 channels, with choice: mic, line, firewire
output: 16 direct outs, 16 outs on firewire, 6 in the pre / post, 4 bus
EQ 4 band semi-para.
No automation
Possiblilité Auxes route to use firewire for live effects plug-ins.
No toilets in / out
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use, very flexible.
Not touched the manual
Clear layout.
SOUNDS
It sounds pretty good, it's obviously not the Neve, but for the price, there is no better. It is widely suffusion for quite some jobs.
The preamps are blowing a little bit when they are pushed to the bottom, and the headroom is not that of my API ... but my 4 API cost me close to two times the Mackie. It is not comparable.
OVERALL OPINION
I use since September 2010.
I have not tried other models in this range, the latter being the only (perhaps with the Allen & Heath) to offer this integration in a similar firewire.
Integration FW is very well thought out. It's really nice to work with.
The negative point is the race of knobs preamps, which gives the 75% gain in the last quarter turn.
The converters are internal anyway as good as the MOTU, I even tend to prefer, but it may be due to analog circuits better bill.
Very good value for money. I would do this choice. A small
