What a beautiful console!
Published on 12/24/15 at 08:58I've had it for one day... Came from an Allen ZED14 which lacked "In"s for our blues band.
First use in rehearsal yesterday evening, no time for precise settings and yet it immediately delivered a great sound. A huge headroom, no distortion whatsoever, very round lows.
The routing features seem perfect to play live. We won't use the Firewire, we got it for the preamps and EQs. Plus, it DOES look good.
At first sight, it seems sturdy. Yet, I find the plastic knobs and switches to look really cheap...
The parametrics' concentric knobs are hard to move and when turning up the gain the difference is immediately heard. It takes very accurate movements... But that's just a detail compared with...…
