Chicago Iron Octavian

octave fuzz handmade in Chicago.
one in, one out, a standard 9 volt power supply.
very good finish. the Metallic blue color is very beautiful and the shape is original.
I regret that the two knobs (volume and boost) are plastoc and that there have not led that lets you know this pedal is on or not. for the price I think they could have to make an effort ... over $ 300 new anyway!
against by the coffert in drinks is very beautiful and great finish! that's cool and more fun than ordinary cardboard box.

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

well then that's gate ... let me explain:
this pedal has a good sound, very good sound btw, but you has a bad and that's all. the boost knob has an absolutely disgusting race and truly change the sound of the last quarter of the race! but when I said the quarter is the quarter REALLY!
at least the same effect is very very thorough. it is a fuzz you tell me, yes, but there is too much. no way to adjust the sound. it is great, but it is quickly tiring effect because it makes the rounds in a few minutes.

OVERALL OPINION

To conclude, this pedal is three times too expensive for what it offers. for the price we still expect a minimum margin of maneuver. where Neni.
and do not give a damn about LEDs and knobs too cheap on a pedal to 300 balls, its just a shame!
the ratio Q / P is just abominable. I prefer 100 times mas FZ-5 bosses that she at least has the merit of being versatile and having a knob race worthy of the name.
