The last distortion in electro harmonix, based on Muff Fuzz Schematic of the end of the 60 donkeys. Caution nothing to do with the big muff!
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use knobs .2 (muff1 & muff2) each acting as a master volume.
single mode only muff1 knob affects the sound, and the two double acting mode.
We can both be used when one or the other as a master volume or gain control.
Depending on whether you choose 1 or 2 as the muff general volume, the sound differre.
MUFF1 masters, MUFF2 background: big distortion.
MUFF2 Masters and thoroughly muff1: disto softer.
SOUND QUALITY
Very good distortion but again nothing to do with a big muff. Not as severe.
The double muff is located in the medium which allows particularly well out of the mix when playing as a group ... (which was not really the case with the big muff in many uses ...)
most of the double muff: dual mode with the knob and muff2 afond muff1 in master volume, just turn down the volume of the guitar to get a crystal clear and its near and / or a slight crunch ... c ' is really excellent the ability of the pedal to react with the dynamics of the instrument.
The breath is really less than a big muff even if the rate of gain maximum is lgrement infrieur.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for about 1 month.
I has a lot of fuzz and distortion (boss turbo distortion and overdrive, electro harmonix big muff, ColorSound tone bender, marshall guvnor, ProCo Rat, Tech 21 XXL, marshall jackhammer, ...) and the double muff is part of my dde PREFERRED.
Price 60 euros, instead as one of the least expensive on the market and it has my taste, a true case.
In addition electroharmonix products are really very well made.
No complaints, it's a great pedal.
