Fuzz type distortion, three knobs, it looks simple but I've always found that the Big Muff all confused series were not necessarily the most obvious to solve.
Bad point for the quality of the switch that sometimes bad snaps and lets off the pedal with the volume halved!
I'll have to think out my soldering iron and replace the switch. The rest is in good condition.

UTILIZATION

Setting a bit more complex than a conventional distortion.
Indeed it depends on the amp and the guitar used. Roxane on my 1000 The Paul-type (SH2 and SH4 pickups), I have not managed to get a sound that I liked 100%, say that the tone does not quite end adjustments to balance the bass / treble.
on the other hand on my Telecaster 60th anniversary, it rocks, it goes well with the edge of the bridge pickup and adjustments are easier.

SOUND QUALITY

The sounds are powerful and bold, it gives in the large energetic rock but curiously as I said, it does better single coil pickups on the Telecaster (for my taste).
I would have to test it on a guitar with humbucking different from my Roxane.
The gain is relatively high and it just sounded like modern fortification based on the parameters selected.

OVERALL OPINION

A good pedal but ask myself the quality issue. To see time as the switch is really low-end. I do not know if the normal version of the Big Muff is doing better on this point. On the left is correct.
A pedal that needs to be tamed and dwell on the settings to deliver its potential.
