Tortuga Effects Sasquatch Germanium

Bought on ebay for a very nice German, who has released more than once for a test, apparently. € 200 new and in fact, it is only € 265 in the French distributor.

I tried some fuzz, Big Muff, Boss and others, and this one really has a very special sound signature. She growls a bit when you do not push too much ... Growl (read the knob fuzz) too high.

€ 265 euros (new), it's a budget for a simple fuzz, but we have seen more expensive and the sound that comes out, I think the price / quality ratio is great.

What I like most in this fuzz is the variety of sounds that can be between the knob growl that toggles a discreet growl a powerful classiqueet fuzz, bass boost / cut that radically changes the sound, and the second switch to use germanium background! What I like least: a knob for blender with the sound of the instrument would have been nice.

I use it mainly on a low, and to summarize: according to the switch position (hungry or full, understand bass cut / boost), there is a fuzz that share more in the guitar effect or keeps well the presence of the Lowest. The Howl (volume) is let to bottom, I think. The knob "Growl" is very effective and the knob "Anger" can add up to have the germanium fuzz effect, the sound that flies, a big fuzz well compressed.

For comparison, I also have the Bass Big Muff and EHX deluxe. Another style of fuzz can be more aggressive and colder, and the blend knob is useful, it lacks the Tortuga. But I think even sell my EHX so the sound of the Sasquatch is good.

To summarize: my new fuzz! A blend knob would put me 10. We will say that this is a 9.9
