OVERALL OPINION

Used for 2/3 years
Before I worked on logic (4 and 5) until these nice gentlemen to send Apple PC users on the roses!
Then comes cubase SX (1-5): the functions you want in here with some (warp) I have to redo some taken as distorted sound files (very pro!), The sound of the catch is not the same as listening, etc. ...
To overcome this a ride on one studio: RAS but ergonomics does not suit me. The sound recordings of cubase do not sound at all like on Studio One: I found the harmonics, dynamics, ...
I keep on beating around the bush: 003 Rack + and PT8
Ben ... we understand that many studios are using it. A cut above most sincerely. PT9 then, no great change its level and PT 10 which I believe to be more open, a wider stereo and use the best side: gain clips etc. ...
The thing I liked least is that we pass quite easily from logic to cubase, reaper etc. ... PT but I was baffled at the beginning
The value for money: it costs about the same as Cubase and Logic. So go for it! I am a fan, and even for MIDI is to say
