Instalation very easy and authorization 5 minutes on the site of cakewalk.
No incompatibilities I only use a few vsti (ez drummer, nexus, trilogy) in addition to those supplied with the software and everything works.
I found the setup very easy too, but I am no longer in bébutant mao!
For my part I had the paper manual in English ... (sic) not against the ouvert.par pdf manual is very complete and very well pensé.Si tutorials we take the time to consider it all very good explanation for starting, anyway read the manual I think the first thing to do to take advantage of such software.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Toshiba Tecra A4 laptop with Centrino Pentium M 740 1GB RAM 1 SATA external drive 250 GB 7200 rpm sound card edirol FA 66
No problems with this configuration.
No audible latency, 17 playback tracks with effects (reverb, chorus, equalizer, etc.)
fingers in the nose ...
Configuration very stable no crashes (I instaler all updates)
so no worries.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a month.
I find it very ergonomic sonar and well thought out with great practical tools (audio snap, V-Vocal ...) and unique and can be configured ailleur.Tout little we spend time on just do it all over avec.De effects and vsti provided are of very good quality (which is not always the case elsewhere, see cubase)
The best audio sequencer that I tried I went through logic, cubase sx 3, traktion2,
sonar and far outweighs ... the price / quality ratio seems better than its main concurrents.Et even if the price can seem high (€ 569 in playback) is the price of excellence! (and then it is cheaper than many others!)
I would do this choice fermés.J eyes' ve found that I could not find ailleur.Pour me is the best sequencer on the market by far, very stable, instinctive, they do in two seconds which requires one hour with other (I exaggerate only!)
