Reason 8
Published on 11/29/15 at 05:11I use Reason 8.3 64 bit with a Focusrite Saffire6 usb Audio/midi interface.
My PC is quite old now, pentium dual core 2.4ghz with 8gb ram,Reason seemss less cpu intensive than most other daws i have used.
Sound quality can sometimes appeara bit thin,i usually rewire it to cubase to use decent quality Mastering plugins to beef up the sound.
I jumped from using Reason 2.5 to 8 so i am still slowly learning how to use Reason with all the new stuff compared to my old 2.5 version.00 - Tugano
Actually it's more of a SHIFT

I tried Cubase (which I use for voice) and Studio One which recently is the software I like to use with Reason Rewire in and mastering. PS Studio One is excellent.
Reason I like because in the end I learned with this software and cabling provides an infinite possibility, I find different ways to work with each use.
In terms of Version 8, bought for me € 129, I tank, it is a "greed" because in the end it's more of a MAJ. But no regrets, I'm not at € 129.See less54
