Don't know if you guys despise this, but if you do, I'm sorry! (I had a post replied and asked another thing but didn't get any answers :().

A simple question (I think :/):

If I get a maudio 2496, how should I proceed to record using an electric guitar? The guitar conector is a P10, but there's no Input for that in the soundcard. Do I need anything else? Is the use of adaptors not recommended?

Along with the 2496, I would recommend a small Behringer mixer. I've got a 1602, but you may not need one that big. You do want one with a subgroup output, though. You can use this as the signal routing center of your studio. If you want to mic something, it'll take a mic. If you want to send it direct, like through a POD or something, it'l handle that, too.
