Thread connecting apogee rosetta to digi 002 rack

I was thinking I would use the word clock out from apogee however there is no word clock receptor on the digi 002. Do I just go out spidf ? Will this control the clocking?

Any thoughts would be great.

if you connect the apogee via s/pdif the a/d/a will work, but if you try to record thru the digi 002 it self you will not be using that great apogee clock.
