Thread cool edit pro problem, recorded over something and can´t undo! please!

Really, i need some advice, i finished a good take and accidentally pushed record in edit window and recorded over the first 10 seconds or so, which i thought i could just fix by hitting undo but it wasn´t posssible. i could undo the edit i´d done just before the accidental overdub, but not the mistake itself.. is there any way i can locate the original part? nothing´s in the clipboard i think, i really dont get it..it was a good take too:( i´ll leave it unsaved in hopes someone will read this soon and give me a hand.
