TopicPosted on 01/30/2005 at 16:05:32editing soft? which one to choose?
i am looking for an editing soft that has nice effects and/or that may be compatible vst but is a standalone. i am just looking for a soft that would save me time...
i usually take some samples and loop them. but for that i use recycle, then reason to make sure it's quantized and then have to export the looped file to an editer to plug it to the rest of the track. tiresome...
is there any easier way? is audition any good?
thanx...

I have been using Adobe Audition for about a year now, and I've found it to be perfect for the kinds of things you want to do. I myself started off with looping, applying certain effects, joining segments of music, etc. Audition allows music editing in Edit (single track) View and Multitrack View, and also allows you to write CDs from within the software itself. I've found that it's help system and support base is also very extensive.
