Topic Newbie needs info
I want to record bands using a live set-up. I need to have the capability to record at least 8 tracks (4 or 5 drums tracks, 2 guitar and 1 bass tracks) simultaneously. Using a scratch vocal track, then go back and and vocals leads etc. A friend suggested I buy a M-Audio Delta 1010-LT sound card. I need to know what else to get as far as a mixing board, any other hardware. I've read the specs on the sound card but it might as well be Greek. I know very little about digital recording. However, I do know a good bit about analog recording so I'm not totally lost. One other thing my friend suggested was to use cubase. Any info would help me at this point in time. Thanks.
