Hello,

I'm writing because as of right now I'm very confused as to how to go about setting up my Reason 2.5 home system. It is pretty bare bones, but from what I understand, it can be made to work fine. I'm just confused as to how to put it all together and actually make Reason recognize my midi controller. Here is my setup:

P4 3.0 GHz, 1 GIG RAM Win XP Pro PC with Service Pack 2
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Soundcard (has MIDI ports)
Edirol PCR-A30 Midi Controller Keyboard
Reason 2.5

For any of you out there that have experience using Reason 2.5 I'm trying to figure out how to make it recoqnize my MIDI controller. I can't get any sound to happen when I play the keys. Also, while the Edirol PCR-A30 has a built in sound card, I think the Sound Blaster is actually better in terms of latency, so maybe I should just use that, but I'm not sure how.

Long story short, I'm completely new at electronic music composition and need a step by step guide as to how to set this system up and actually be able to play with it in Reason 2.5.

Thanks :)
