It adds an adjustable signal boost while allowing you to shape high, middle, and low frequencies using the seven sliders on the pedal.

BOSS pedals are the best! Their construction has been top notch since day one. You could throw this solid metal box from a fast moving car and it would be fine.
This pedal is a great addition to any signal chain. It is also awesome as a stand-alone unit. I have used this pedal for many years and it has never let me down.
