In celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Gretsch Company, a special instrument was created.
The Gretsch color Jaguar Tan was selected for the body top with metallic gold for its sides & back. For resonates & tone, 3-play laminated maple construction for the entire body was maintained.
The New ML bracing, which stands for designers, Masao Terada and Mike Lewis, makes its debut on the 125th Anniversary.
This construction synchronizes the vibration of the top & back but with a more acoustical openness in tone, according to Gretsch.
Accentuating the tone are a pair of TV Jones® Power’Tron™ pickups, pinned rosewood based Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and a Bigsby® B6C vibrato tailpiece.
