4-track song sequencer, and 4-track pattern

MIDI in-out

Pattern 1-8 measures

UTILIZATION

Assets:

1. Very easy.
2. It is possible to use a MIDI keyboard even in step mode (it seems not possible on some devices Boss / Roland DR-202 as and MC-505), even for the agreements.

The minus:
1. You must choose the number of steps before starting to record a pattern, not possible after (it seems typical for Yamaha).
2. In step mode you see all the sounds at the same time for a track, which makes editing a little more rhythm tracks dificil (not possible to see only the snare drum, for example).
3. If you are in a pattern and you copies, after you come back in the first pattern (alhors you must choose the new pattern for editing). If you do it in reverse, for example in a pattern you is empty and you copy a pattern into it, the tempo automatically become 120 bpm and the tempo selected before you copy the pattern (ie, the tempo is not copied ). Well, it's not the worst thing in the world.
It is possible to use the song tracks To register pieces made from other sequencers, but the memory of the beast is limited. For example, I made all the 100 patterns (without songs), and after I tried to register a piece of 20 minutes has two tracks and I have not even managed to Save a half of the song.

SOUNDS

I do not use the drum sounds because I want to separate the sounds, alhors I use a drum machine, but I tried some of these sounds and it readable. There There's only acoustic drum sounds, percussion, and a TR-808 Yamaha version. (If you want more electronic sounds and sound effects such as helicopters and birds, it is a QY22)

Other sounds are generally kitsch, but it is possible to find the sounds used, particularly the synth sounds, but even then it is better to avoid the higher registers ringing not to kitsch.

OVERALL OPINION

I use seriously in recent months.

That's nice.
