Linn Sondek « The best for my taste. »
Published on 07/28/13 at 06:59Mounted in a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe combo of U.S. fifteen years, these lamps are my favorite. Of all the games I've Groove Tubes with power stage of my combo, they are superior to the sound that I like the most: warm, soft and silky.
The model I chose is a Grade 1 Blue is characterized by a soft attack and a certain roundness. The bridge pickups in my LP has never sounded better! In power chords, I find firmness in the sound, including neck pickup alone, that do not provide the 6L6R or B of the sorter, yet very good.
Associated with GT SAG-FHG "kit" pre-amp, this duet of 6L6 GE gives me exactly what I wanted.
