Very simple config.
knob a boost
A bass knob
knob a treble
Amp output for lamp.
A transistor amplifier output.
A silent switch.
I said that the Blackstar HT are not true bypass (which is great).
The buffer is of excellent quality, so no problem on that side.
Like any Blackstar pedals, construction is good, it borders on the 10 but there is always the fact that knob metal with just a point for the benchmark is not at all legible even under good lighting conditions, so I do not even mention the condition of live. (See my opinion on the HT-Dual)
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use.
It sets the level of boost, the level of bass and treble.
It comes very easy to move from a neutral to boost Assé a colorful boost.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality is by appointment.
The pedal delivers a very rich revives any amp.
I also tested by placing it at different pedals (ZW overdrive, 4 germanium, etc.). And its a beautiful still.
OVERALL OPINION
Probably one of the best boost pedal.
Obviously, the price is slightly higher than a LBP1, but ultimately the goal is not quite the same.
In the case of HT-Boost is not really changed the contour of her and give heat, sharp attack and a sound, even if the amplifier output is not great or the dynamics a bit anemic.
We'll have enjoyed (and put a 10) of knob a bit more effective (the tech 21 can be), but are still effective asse.
Always on the pots, if you happened to see the reference indicator when you play you are either an eagle or very (too) close to the ground.
