Published on 02/16/14 at 14:58It is a buffer (warning, not permanent as the pedal is true bypass), coupled with a clean boost (+ 13dB max gain) with a bright switch. That's a pretty heavy pedal, compact, short, a German Panzer! Note that the holes are in the front to screw on a pedalboard.
UTILIZATION
A potentiometer and two switches, there is no need to look from noon to 14h!
For me the most interesting use is clean boost upstream of my TS-9 and with the bright switch down. Note, however, the impact of the bright switch is fairly limited, but in fact just sensitive when removed you just want to re-engage immediately ...
SOUND QUALITY
The pedal is very transparent. I hear no difference in grain when activated, unless the bright switch is engaged. In clean boost that is perfect, and obviously in this buffer is precisely what is asked!
OVERALL OPINION
I have a few months, and it has become a clean boost that I use to push my 2 overdrives like the overdrive channel of my amp. Pedal that I use the most after my 2 overdrives exactly!
