With Focus, VFE offers an alternate solution to guitarists who use their TubeScreamer as a Mid Boost effect.
The Focus pedal was developed with Periphery’s Adam Getgood. This mid boost uses variable high and low-cut filters to control the saturation of these two frequency ranges.
The pedal features three Tight, Smooth and Level knobs, as well as a Mix mini dial and a dual two-position switch to change the filter slopes to 1 or 2 poles. An internal trimpot will change the makeup gain of the dry signal.
VFE used on Focus three OPA2134 op amps as well as a TruSoft Bypass that combines relay and FET and offers a second Momentary operation mode.
Last, you can customize the frequency ranges by using the Wizard, which is available for free until September 30th.
