eMedia Music Corp., publisher of the world's best-selling series of guitar tutorial CD-ROMs, announced the release of TimeStretch.
Published by I.P.E. Music, TimeStretch is designed to let you learn or practice any piece of music at any speed. It slows down the music without changing pitch so you can play along slowly and gradually come up to tempo.
Additionally, TimeStretch can transpose a piece of music, adjusting it to a higher or lower register as needed, according to the company. Pieces of music can be extracted from audio CDs or MP3s, and then TimeStretch adjusted versions of the music can be saved as WAV, MP3, of WMA files or burned to a new custom audio CD.
This software is designed to let you adapt, select parts, save and burn from your audio CDs and WAV, MP3, and WMA files. 6 languages are included with TimeStretch: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch.
Pricing & Availability
TimeStretch will be available at computer and music retail stores nationwide in October at an estimated retail price of $29.95.
The CD-ROM is Windows (XP/Vista/Windows 7) compatible.
A trial version of TimeStretch may also be downloaded from eMedia’s web site: www.emediamusic.com/demo/TimeStretch_PC
