Two Notes Audio has announced the upcoming release of Torpedo CAB, a new stomp-box cabinet simulation to a guitar rig on a pedalboard.
Torpedo CAB has the main features of Torpedo Live in a pedal format with an input stage specifically designed to work with guitar and line levels. The Torpedo CAB will provide power amp simulation (thanks to its component-based modeling algorithms) as well as cabinet + microphone simulation, powered by Two Notes’ exclusive Torpedo technology.
This technology is designed to emulate the sound and process of miking a guitar or bass cabinet in a recording studio, including free microphone placement into the virtual recording room thanks to the Torpedo IR synthesis.
Torpedo CAB will be loaded with 32 Two Notes’ measured cabs, each featuring 8 microphones. 512 user impulse responses slots will be available, that can be filled with 3rd party IR files or with your own IR measurement files (free Torpedo Capture software available on Two Notes’ website).
Pricing & Availability:
Torpedo CAB will be available in April 2012, at the price of 499€ incl. VAT.
You can see a live demo of the Torpedo CAB at the 2012 Winter NAMM show, Anaheim Convention Center, Hall D booth 2694.
