« Strymon in all its glory! »
Published on 12/19/12 at 03:04- Made in USA!
- 3 types of modulation (Delay simple, multi delay and vibrato
- 3 modes (normal, envelope and ramp)
- 1 knob to control the tone, one for Mix
- Stereo input and output
- True Bypass
- 2 switches: one to activate the effect and another with the saved configuration
UTILIZATION
This Strymon Strymon as all may seem a little complicated at first. After a few hours of use, it comes easily to get the sound you want. The manual, although English is very easy to understand! Not to mention the many youtube video to better understand!
SOUND QUALITY
The pedal is in the effects loop of my ENGL Powerball II alongside Strymon BlueSky and TimeLine! I play with a carvin CS6 and this is exactly the configuration I wanted, I mainly use the chorus for my clean tones and some soli distortion, it is very clear!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 1 year! Basically, I went on a rather kind chorus MXR, Electro Harmonix and Co but when I listened to the Strymon, all these brands "classic" "general public" have gone by the wayside!
The quality / price may seem a little high but I think ultimately, for this kind of effect, quality pays! It is a choice that I will ever!
