«  Compressor quality »

This is a very classic pedal compression, with 3 potentiometers: attack, sustain and level.
No mysteries in the way it connects: input jack, output jack and 9V battery power or via an adapter (not supplied).
The metal case seems solid, we'll see.
fundamental elements (at least for me): it is a true bypass, ie the sound of your system is not modified when the pedal is not used This is far from being the case all the time for the effects of this price range ...

UTILIZATION

3 controll knobs, in other words we quickly made the turn, which has its charm. Not need a PhD to use such a device.
Then the

SOUND QUALITY

adpend what is expected of this kind of effect:
For my part, I find that a compression ds shines when it does not change too much the original signal. So I tend to show me very parsimonious about rglages.
In this case, it is pure happiness. I played on a Mesa Boogie Rectoverb (a killing), and I use this pedal only sounds clear, either to compress my rhythm or to bring out the chorus of my arpges.
If this is your goal, it's nice! Each knob rgl third, and the peaks of the spectrum that surpasses by whirling eardrums fit nicely into the frame, cool!
But ... if your goal is to use compression as a sustainer to make your guitar scream as Gary Moore's "Parisian walkaway" better to invest in an optical compressor upscale gnrera less ... of breath.
And yes, if you go up or sustain a reasonable level by Del, was not bad breath in your sails ...

OVERALL OPINION

Ultimately, this is a nice price quality ratio that will delight lovers of good clear rhythmic frameworks, as well as people who want to sublimate their chorus.
A nice compressor, if that is not seeking one million rglages.
