RC-505 is the code of the new Loop Station Boss will introduce next week at Musikmesse.

Designed for every musician and performer, including singer and “beatboxers”, the RC-505 Loop Station puts at your fingertip 5 stereo sample tracks with effects, for this new version is indeed operated with the hands.

Features:

  • 5 stereo loop tracks, each one with dedicated commands and volume fader
  • Effect section for input (x3) and recorder (x3) signals, including sampler and DJ effects (vinyl flick, beat repeat), robot, vocoder effects and more with adjustable parameters (filter frequency, effect intensity…)
  • Compressor and reverb on the output
  • Independent tempo and playback mode for each track
  • Playback modes: multi, single, one shot, reverse…
  • 99 memory slots, each one with the 5 tracks, effects and playback parameters…
  • 85 built-in rhythm patterns
  • Ability to send the rhythm pattern only to the headphones
  • Can be remote-controlled via MIDI or expression pedals and footswitches (8 assignable commands)
  • USB port for communication with a computer (can act as an Audio and MIDI interface)
  • XLR microphone input with phantom power
  • Jack 1/4" Mono/Stereo instrument inputs
  • Mini-jack 1/8" stereo aux input
  • Headphones output

    No MIDI input and output ? How are you supposed to sync your hardware synthesizer or drum machine ? I do use my RC-50 to sync 3 synthesizers, a PC loaded with Reason, and a drum machine. Just with one tap...
