Analog Delay. Has an input jack, two jack outputs (one with purpose and a "dry"). 3 Controls: Delay Time, Feedback, Delay Level, 3 switch on / off emulation of tape delay (3 / 8, 4 / 8 and 5 / 8), power supply 9V

UTILIZATION

Use is very simple, the buttons it feels solid, I wish I could control the switch using an expression pedal

SOUND QUALITY

So there is really the highlight of this Pedal! Any loss of earnings, a warmth, a little feedback can be pushed oscillations magical, very musical. I already have an aqua-puss, a Moogerfooger 104z analog delay and a deluxe memory Boy: The 999 maxon analog pro buries them all and largely in terms of sound quality. I tested this pedal with my theremin Etherwave on a PA, my strat a hot rod deluxe, my Nord C1 organ leslie on a 3300 (with the sound of a Farfisa and a volume pedal wah wah I played "set The Control for the Heart of the Sun "by Pink Floyd and I always feel at pompei ... well above the delay built on the north) and my Nord Lead 2X synth in a PA system. This delay fits perfectly with any instrument.La multitap function simulates more delay, in 3 / 8 4 / 8 and 5 / 8 is not bad at all, a pretty cool feature, not to be confused with a "tape simulation" or simulated tape echo

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 days without stopping, it is a true marvel, I have tried many models before, those mentioned above plus the Memory Man and the mxr carbon copy.
What I like most: the sound altogether.
What I like least: unlike a boy deluxe memory or moog delay, you can not plug in expression pedal for feedback controller, or the speed of the mix or even delay, which is anyway not poorly important to me live, especially for feedback (when it starts from it's nice to lower it fast enough not to make public its deaf and burst his hp).
The value for money for me is very good: the Moogerfooger 104z costs 200 euros more, certainly has many more options (multiply the delay time by 2 or divide by 2 using a switch, all controller parameters with an expression pedal, add an effect only on the delay) but was significantly lower sound quality.
That conclusion, if this delay had an input for an expression pedal I think it will remain the benchmark for 100 years. The sound is absolutely wonderful, fantastic, soaring, hypnotic ... Extraordinary
