Version 2 of the Echolution 2 firwmware now allows for mapping and controlling the five main parameters (repeats, delay time, mix, modulation speed and depth) via an expression pedal or an envelope. You can even assign different settings to the heel and toe, reverse the envelope and adjust the decay time for each preset.
The Single Expression / Envelope mapping feature previously available on the Echolution 2 now serves as Advanced Mapping Override to experiment without the computer.
The Echolution 2 application has also been updated to reflect the changes in the firmware, and you can, for instance, setup the expression pedal mapping or envelope control via the advanced option menu. Plus, a new Preset Blending option now gives you the ability to choose two similar presets, the application will setup the ranges and direction of the expression pedal to that it can blend the settings.
Last, Pigtronix added global settings for the Ducking sensitivity and release time and improved the preset manager.
The update is free and available for download now at www.pigtronix.com.
