Solec 706AD Analog Delay

Analog Delay (up to 600ms) powered by battery or power supply sector. An entry in a mono output and a stereo. An LED switch-witness. Three setting:

MIX: Sound level repeated Notes

RATE: eCRT the adjustment time between repetitions (the settings takes place opposite direction of the other parameters)

REPEAT: repeat number
Of good quality steel case and very durable. The knobs have a pink dot to the settings indicated his lack of finesse for adjustments. I put 8 for the lack of design. Note the handy 600ms delay given that most analog delay does not exceed 350 ms.


USE

The settings are very simple and intuitive, you quickly find the right settings. The pedal is not equipped with a true bypass, it hardly not color the sound. It makes no noise. The inverted RATE can be confusing at first.


SOUND QUALITY

This is an analog delay, the greater the time repeats (repeat) the more the signal is altered (careful I mean compared to a digital delay, the signal is obviously music well, it gives all the power of an analog delay), the pedal tends added bass in the sound when the RATE knob is in the end I put this race to 7.

NOTICE GLOBAL

Robust, easily adjustable. Useful for which seeks an analog sound "old" it will not be useful if you want a extreme precision. The pedal adds a hint of heat in the signal giving its charm has the pedal. It can be criticized a lack of flexibility, but it does its job and so much better now!
