UTILIZATION

I just flew over the manual, it is clear enough, but I soon preferred to turn the knobs and have fun ... we realize quickly the quality of delay effects!
I've never used midi sync.

SOUND QUALITY

I used this for a long delay on the vocals, and now two years on an acoustic guitar.
In my humble opinion the effects are absolutely wonderful as the song on the guitar! it has a very realistic sound tape echo. It's simple I have this pedal for a long time now and this is my favorite pedal that makes me never fail!

The song that brings a pretty terrible extent, I used a metal-electro group and it was frankly perfect. I also loved this training create psychedelic effects directly by putting the repeater back and tempo at least ... it gives a kind of climb ... an incredible thing that up and coming and he must quickly cut the risk of dying pregnant and toughest eardrums.

I now use an electronic guitar with nylon and other pedals on my pedalboard (overdrive preamp and looper), again it is perfect! very warm.

OVERALL OPINION

It takes a little time to adapt to master tap tempo. You should know you need to type three times, if you type 4 it tends to shift.
- I do not think the "Brown" button is very obvious it is supposed to do more "vintage" sound ... but frankly the difference is not huge. I do not care that this button is pressed or not the sound is terrible.
- I have the old version of the pedal, with a small push button for "Brown" and "subdivision" ... It's not terrible because it's hard to see if these little button are pressed or not. In the new version they changed for small switches vintage look and are probably much more convenient. There's also a new button on the side I feel ... I do not know what it is.
I use it for may be ten years, This is a pedal that I paid quite expensive but I do not regret this investment. It was the first delay pedal, I've never tried other before. If I had to do I do it again this choice without hesitation.

This is a digital pedal after the site of t-rex that sounds analog.
For certain aspect it reminds me of the sound we was getting with the kind roland echo tape re re 201 501: the presence of a natural echo that does not tire of rehearsing and variables

The small stuff and more is that there is a kind of double echo pedal in this subdivision with the button as the name suggests we get notes with intervals of 1/4 to 1/8 triplets. (This is not obvious but it's subtle)

The specs on this pedal are very high. The sample rate and converters are top notch. People can't seem to decide whether it's actually analog. The consensus is that the signal path is pretty much high quality analog while the circuitry is digital. Honestly I don't care as long as it sounds good. I don't believe that it's true bypass, however I haven't really noticed and tone loss. It has tap tempo of course which was the selling point for me. Has a fairly long delay time too. Oh and midi, which is super important to me. Not many delays have this. I'm glad this one does.

UTILIZATION

The pedal itself is pretty darn simple to figure out. Has the usual delay controls along with tap tempo and all work as they should. The brown switch supposedly does high end cutting on the repeats. I don't like how it sounds and would rather do without it. The subdivision switch splits the delay time or something, so you can do triplet delays. It's more of a time saving feature than anything. Midi implemention works well enough and I have used it a lot lately.

SOUND QUALITY

People say that these are better for recording than live but I haven't heard that in my experience. This is a very colored delay as most analog ones are. The closest thing I can compare it to is maybe the Dunlop Carbon Copy because it has the darkness on the repeats, especially with the Brown switch on. A better word I feel would be "hazy" or "fadey". The repeats fade out very naturally which you don't get with most digital delays.

OVERALL OPINION

I have heard a lot of people having switch failures on these. In fact my friend has an older one and the tempo switch on his broke. Mine hasn't given me any trouble but I rarely use it live and when i do it's usually in a rack. That might be why. The price is a little bit steep but considering you get a true analog delays AND tap tempo AND midi I think it's fair.

Delay pedals absolutely "transparent". It is prcis in the manual it is analog. MIDI CONTRL between the time delay or to switch on / off via an external Controller. Included power supply.

UTILIZATION

Intuitive and efficient! Nothing else to add. In addition to the four knobs, two switches occur, subdivision (triplets) and brown (high cut filter).

SOUND QUALITY

She gives me what I was expecting a delay of pedals without "coloring" my sound. It perfectly intgre the effects loop of my Laney VC15 and gives me much satisfaction on my Fender Blues Junior (no fx loop). Also on the effects loop, I can CONTRL the intensity of delay pedals via a volume (low impdance) ERNIE BALL, intgre also in the loop.

For a week and it is "part of the furniture" like I always possdais the ... Seeing that no notice for this public n'tait pedals, he m 'seemed essential to leave the mine. I make many purchases APRS consulting advice on the net and it was default. In my humble stone o the difice ... Advice, check out several retailers before acqurir is CHRE. In my case I paid 359 new at my local supplier.

The T-Rex Replica is a delay pedal which I believe is all analog. It has 1/4 inch connectors, standard to most instrument effect pedals. The effect is not rackable as it is a stomp box.

UTILIZATION

The set up of the pedal is extremely easy - just plug your guitar into the input and send your output to your amp. Editing the effect is easy - it has 4 knobs for echo, level, repeat and tempo. It also has a tempo tap button that comes in very handy when trying to synch up the delay to a certain tempo. I've only looked at the manual once as its easy enough to manipulate the knobs and get a good sounding delay out of it.

SOUND QUALITY

The delay sounds I've gotten with this pedal are up there with the best I have heard from a stomp box. I also have a Line 6 DL4 and the Replica's delay sounds better to me than any of the settings on it. I mostly use this pedal with electric guitar, but I can imagine that it would sound good with any electric instrument that you wanted to use delay with.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had the T-Rex Replica for about a year and half and I love using it in the studio. It is easy to use and really produces a clean sounding delay. It is versatile sounding delay as a variety of sounds can be gotten from the pedal. My only complaint about this pedal is that when it is hooked up with other pedals of other brands, it seems to lose its edge a bit; not sure why this is. However, since I mostly use this pedal in the studio and don't usually use too many other pedals with it works out. Overall I love the sounds I get from this pedal and while it isn't exactly a bargain, I don't think it is over priced because of the high sound quality it possesses.
