Distortion pedal for 80 years, analog.
Certainly the pedal sold in the world!
This version is Made in Japan (mine date 83) and is much better than priori the latest Taiwan.

UTILIZATION

Very simple configuration, no need for manual, it's so Boss indestructible.
I love the orange side yard on my pedalboard, it does not take place,
Surprising having the volume set differently than the boss SD1, not a problem ...

SOUND QUALITY

Pass at her, I use a telecaster or stratocaster with a tube amp 60s and a vox ac15c1 from time to time.
I hesitated to buy it because I'm pretty adept with overdrive! I figured at worst, she would boost ...
First, respect the guitar is complete! The sound is always clear and sharp oriented medium. Most users grows and the rule to Nirvana, often with a drive very thorough. My usage is different: little or no drive / tone 9h/volume 12. In this configuration, it does wonders, just what I expected ... Beyond half drive, it becomes Grunge classic and I understand those who critique: On a Gibson set to hide funds for the lack of heat from a transistor amp, other saturations would probably be better, even if it password with a synthetic side really 90 years!

OVERALL OPINION

I recently started using in my rock band style indie pop. She dethroned my overdrive classic I've tried a good thirty times more expensive. If someone had told me one day that I have played a one DS1, I hallucinating! For my use, this is excellent, it serves overdrive and I do not regret my purchase. My use: single coils + amp + Boss DS1 bulbs mini set, I CARE! For another use, I'll let you judge ...
