It has alright distortion.
It can be easily matched by a $15 Rogue ditortion pedal.
It is sturdy and well built.
i wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this pedal. Someone who wants a deal should buy a Danelectro Pastrami or DOD Supra Distortion
