SOUND QUALITY
Once you know the pedal and we know the address correctly, you get a good sound, a sound metal or heavy rock ... but beware this is not a competitor of the Metal Zone, they do not deliver the same sound! The Metal Core is very modern, it is the metal of today.
I use it with an Ibanez RG 2550 EMG 81/85 rise.
OVERALL OPINION
I use now for 1 month. I tried a lot of style, and although some had sounds more attractive, the price / performance ratio was better at Boss. Like its powerful distortion, its effectiveness cons I regret Noise Gate and a knob to the medium. The price / quality ratio is excellent: a nice big distortion to 65 euros, used the best available. Yes I would do without hesitation that choice.
