I currently use the version of Triangle, I try version Ram's head as soon as I have, he says, they are very close.
UTILIZATION
Config extremely simple, a volume, tone, saturation adjustment and a 4-way switch (normal, scoop, scoop more, tone bypass). Be careful when you pass the first 3 positions in the 4th to the significant increase in volume!
Of course, well that one is dealing here with a Muff-like, so not to buy if you looking for a sound fuzz factory, this style of its Muff is quite specific (by the particular sound medium, and a mixture of distortion and fuzz dare I say).
SOUND QUALITY
Very effective indeed. Used with 2 guitars with humbuckers, when I active I take a kick in the behind!
Seriously, I've always liked that sound "Muff" I was offered a Big Muff Reissue ... I played 4 hours and I sold it in stride ...
Yet the typical I missed (I also play with a fuzz factory). I had the chance of getting a secondhand not too expensive, and I do not regret having taken the plunge!! There is a gain monster in there and all that fun level of play that has nothing to do with the reissue (for my taste), it blows less is less messy, and also much more "versatile "as well: D
I just used the last position (although very good), simply because I prefer to have my hand on my tone setting.
A state as before I used my OD to boost my amp distortion, now is the muff that I use and it's perfectly his case and even better I would say)!
OVERALL OPINION
Used for 1 month and a half, I tested simply reissue the style, tone wicker, the little. Not packed. I have not tested other models "copies" shop, so I would pronounce me not on a possible comparison with other models. In any case, I found a pleasure sound "Muff"! Excellent value for money, even if purchased new for someone who absolutely seek this sound. I was in no hurry and it is rather episodic use so I could expect to fall by chance a chance: I'm delighted, I would do this choice 1000 times!
