This is a distortion analog 4potards (volume, low, high gain for the equalizer and for the level of distortion)
represents a good alternative to the DS-1 to me

UTILIZATION

Setup is easy, the eq is passive but still venture to shape the sound
the manual is useless, there is plug and it runs, I use a Vox AC 30 CC1
to boost the gain, suitable for rhythm but for solos is a bit feeble
So I put 9 because I bought it precisely to the rhythm seen in the solos, I use the clean or my Fuzz (Big Muff for EHX)

SOUND QUALITY

It's an analog distortion, so with a true personality, albeit low-end, but the price does not sound, if it should take you there, I tried to make crunchy sounds like Rock 'n' Roll , Rock, Hard Rock, Metal or soft, fine, it's a pedal that is oriented at 8O year's but sounds more modern than the DS-1, I was looking for a pedal not too expensive and is a more richer than the DS-1
at this point it is fulfilling its role

OVERALL OPINION

I've had 2 months, she already used in concert, resistant, does not drain the battery quickly (if you unplug the jacks), I tried the overdrive Vox (tube), I was not convinced I tried the DS-1, I tried the ProCo Rat (not bad) but too classic. for that price it is difficult or impossible to do better
I do it again the same choice if it again and I had more money
or I'll take a MXR Double Shot Distortion, MXR Distortion + or a
