Published on 02/12/12 at 01:46Indeed for purely analog for any type of Metal.
9V with a "Buffered Bypass", although it is written "true bypass" the confession of Emma Electronics. Regardless, it is quality, nothing is eaten bypassed.
The case is mega rustic, carved in the metal (aluminum?) On untreated slices with a nice aesthetic treatment on top. Nice choice with the dual LED graphic for Death's Head and mixing raw metal color with black. Simple, effective, pretty, can not be mistaken about the vocation of the pedal, I like!
UTILIZATION
There is the basic knobs: Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble, Gain.
Just right for this pedal.
Anyone who understood the value of equalization will all included here.
SOUND QUALITY
If it is for Metal, I do not see why it would be inappropriate.
Just a matter of taste, she has a beautiful grain that makes me want to play again and again.
It sounds much better on the 12 "with a volume a bit forced to feel the harmony of frequencies mixed grain so typical of this pedal.
I use it with a Dimarzio Chopper in Telecater with easel. It already sounds great with the volume pushed.
With a true humbucker mounted on a guitar made for the pedal, we have the best combinations.
80's Metal riff at Neo Metal, anything goes, it's good!
Do not point to this pedal if it's to do with the Overdrive, there is also much better huh ...
OVERALL OPINION
To be honest, I am the choice of the facility.
Research on the video sharing site for my comparisons.
I liked its texture and its aesthetics are what prompted me to search.
Despite its price, I will ever be this good choice for this just sound grainy for my taste.
I have tried others, but this is it here that I like most.
The price / quality ratio is pretty bad, there are certainly other pedals that could do the trick for much cheaper (you must continue to seek what).
... But the PisdiYauWot is that I have chosen Yeah!
