USE

Config 'very simple. The knobs ragissent very well. Volume range from "mute" much higher than the sound without the pedal. The Tone Deaf goes very very garish. The neutral gain (clean sound) Hi-gain / fuzz.
- No manual.

SOUND QUALITY

I use it with a standard rises more Epi LP 496R and 500T pickups Gibson. All on a 50-watt amp lamps like Fender HotRod Deluxe on the clean channel (trs neutral).
I was looking for a sound the "Orange", the second guitarist in my group possde an Orange Rockerverb and I craqu this sound distortion.
The pedal is in these types sonnorits: Mdiums pais, sustain, drooling a little, a little fuzz distortion that when pushed or we spend neck pickup, a lot of gain (sound The Datsuns for those who know). The pedal so much color the sound. This is exactly what I was looking for !!
I use tone 14h and 14h gain
You can play with the knobs to change the sound, the gain reacts very well to mdiator attacks and knobs of the guitar.

NOTICE GLOBAL

I use it for 1 month.
I love the sound BUT: I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BYPASS (see forum), I do not know how to solve, but it lowers the rating of the pedal.
I tried a lot of pedals these: Marshall GV2, Proco RAT 2 Proco You Dirty Rat, Boss Blues Driver 2 Boss SD-1 Boss DS-2 Boss MT-2, Rocktron Zombie, and so on ...

It perfectly matches what I wanted ===> EXCEPT BYPASS
125 euros it's expensive, but I had 80 Cygnus', and it's unbeatable. Never does a pedal given me so much satisfaction. The sound typ Orange. gnial.

Maybe not very versatile ?? I do not know. Honestly has no interests me versatility. I have my sound.

Go try the whole range. There forcment has for you, even if it's not the one I chose. They are all in very good order. ATTENTION TO BYPASS, Well vrifier before (maybe mine is an isolated case.

[edit 3/05/2007] I rgl bypass the problem by making a true-bypass pedal. The pedal again for me perfectly, but not original. Note remains 5: His gnial but rotten bypass.
